I saw them skiing this slope, super fast!

That had to be an awesome moment. I presume that such sightings are all too rare the closer you get to the lake itself and nearby lodge. I didn’t feel in danger of any bear encounters until I hiked the Moraine Lake basin, where bear warning signs were posted at trail heads. Just a few days after a friend and I hiked the Consolation Lake trail, i saw a RUclips video posted of a momma bear and cub following a group of tourist on the same trail.

I saw Al land a 1080 back in the 90's. He was 40+ years old then.

Those Yan high speed quad lifts sure didn't last too long, lol. By 2004, the "most advanced lift technology in the world" were scrapped and replaced by more "reliable" lifts.

This is NOT the original Louise Ski Movie. However 95% of the original footage is in this movie. The original was filmed in the winter of 73-74. It was much better as the soundtrack was relevant to the music of the 70's. Listening to this version was really difficult... the narrator added no compelling reason to want to come the "LAKE" as it is now known. Sadly, the original probably ended up in the floor but the person who chopped up the film to put this together. Never the less, "Lake Louise" is a massive ski area and a delight to make turns on. If you are looking for a GREAT place to take a holiday... 'THIS IS IT!" I know.... I was the most filmed of any skier in this movie. Stacy Hll
